DESCRIPTION:This is a “come and try” event in the Ringmer/Laughton area. \nHQ is in the car park at the Roebuck Inn\, Laughton\, open from 6:45 pm. First rider off at 7:30 pm. \nSigning up in advance is requested. Please sign up here. [Alternatively go to the CTT website] \nCourse information \nSTART on the far end of the apron (facing west towards Ringmer) to the industrial units located after the Wok Inn at grid reference 50°53’56.9″N 0°06’49.2″E on B2192. Proceed 1.63 miles down the B2192 until LEFT into Half Mile Drove. Continue until the end of Half Mile Drove. Then LEFT on B2124 towards Laughton. LEFT after 4.34 miles on Shortgate Lane. Continue until the end of Shortgate Lane and then LEFT on B2192. Repeat another 1/2 lap until the FINISH at the field entrance at grid reference 50°53’52.7″N 0°07’38.2″E  and opposite the farm buildings at Home Farm (approx 0.4 miles / 0.6 km after the turn into Common Lane and 0.15 miles before the village sign gates). \n

DESCRIPTION:An off-road ride with a choice of 50 km or 100 km courses taking in the spectacular South Downs\, and a socially-paced road ride for those who prefer tarmac. \nWe will ride\, then all meet at the ‘Off the Wagon‘ bar just outside Lewes (where the routes end)* between 2 – 3 pm for an end-of-season beer and baked potato\, with friends and family invited too. \nThere are cafes and taps en-route and the 100 km off-road route will cross back near Lewes at around 50 km if you want to cut it short. \nDetails of routes and GPX files will be shared in the off-road WhatsApp group. \n100 km off-road riders will meet outside Bake Out in Lewes at 08:00 for an 08:30 roll out\, with the 50 km meeting at 09:00 for a 09:30 roll out. The road ride will meet at The Forge\, Ringmer from 08:30 for a 09:00 start. \nAs the off-road rides will have no ride leaders\, remember to ride safely\, respect other people\, close gates behind you and that you are responsible for your own safety. \nOpen exclusively to club members\, but there’s still time to join! Turn Left at 2nd mini RBT (1st Exit) and proceed South on A275 past start to the Rainbow PH\, Cooksbridge\, Grid Ref 403142\, where tum sharp Left into lane. Proceed northwards to T-junction at Town Littleworth\, where turn Left and continue to T-junction with A275 at South Street. Turn Left on A275 and repeat circuit via the Rainbow PH and Town Liftleworth to FINISH at electricity pole 2165\, approximately 75 yards short of T-junction with A275\, Grid Ref 393184. \n17.58 miles \nHQ: The Five Bells Public House\, Chailey\, BN8 4DA (Open from 08:00).
